Frank Barz is Head of Industrial IOT at T-Systems Multimedia Solutions GmbH, based in Dresden, Germany. He has over 20 years of experience with Telco & Utility related services in Europe, North and South America.
Frank started his professional career as a Product Manager responsible to introduce Metering & Billing services into the utility industry. From 2011 he supported, in a business development role, Deutsche Telekom approach to offer new digital services into the automotive, health and energy market.
For the past 5 years in his position as the head of I- IOT Frank has been responsible to consult small and medium enterprises in the area of digital transformation. His role is to build up new IOT ventures through international know how transfer and develop new digital products and services through co creation processes.
Frank is a 1993 graduate from Muenster University Germany with a Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering.
